1. The quote is basically saying you need something important to get something else important.Also that if you want something you have to do something.The video is talking about or rapping about love and how he gave everything he had to be with one girl.

Also that if you take care of something really good then it is gonna come out to be something really good. And that just showing you care about something is gonna mean whatever you care about will finish what it was meant to do.
3. The video and quote are similar and different in there own ways. There similar because they both talk about love being an essential part. Also because there talking about the same subject.They differ because one is in words.And the other is in a video with examples.

The video and the quote are probably both great that the messages make sense of what they are both trying to say of what they wanna say to a girl that they think is the one true love.
I guess that is matters to me cause I had a similar thing like that had happened to me, except that it had only lasted one year and then it had ended and we said goodbye, I had thought that once you had both said "I love you" it had meant true love that will last forever but for me it had only meant friendship forever with the person you loved and still love. But I guess that now I'm over that now I can only find a person that will love me for who I am and that I can love them back as I they are. This is how humans, who are part of the animal kingdom work. We find a mate we believe is suitable for mating. We are more advanced however. We search far and wide for the perfect suitable partner, even if it's not totally perfect.

When he doesn't realize that that was his true love. He feels like he needs to stop being a playboy and he needs to settle. That was true love.
